@Mail at Apple Developer Conf - San Francisco

June 3, 2007

@Mail will be attending the Worldwide Apple Developer Conference in San-Francisco from June 11th to the 15th. Ben Duncan from the Australian HQ, Jason Brown and Corey Bissaillon will be attending on behalf of @Mail.

If any existing clients or prospects are attending, we’d love to meet up and share what’s new with @Mail.

The intention of the conference is to further develop @Mail under OSX with a native installer, integrate the software with iCal, interface with OS X Leopard’s new server functions ( calendaring & address book ) and to forge ahead with the Video-Mail feature of @Mail with Apple’s video technologies.

We are aiming to create an upgrade path for users on Apple Xserve to replace the default SquirrelMail with @Mail, and offer an enhanced Groupware platform for Apple customers.

Hopefully even speak to the right people at Apple to bundle @Mail rather then Squirellmail on all Xserve appliances!

  1. Hey Ben,

I will be there too. I do Linux and Mac OS X administration for the Energy group at General Atomics. Our group just upgraded our Sendmail server and went with @mail for a webmail solution. Overall it has been a very easy transition from our old webmail. Maybe I will get a chance to meet up with you and your team at WWDC.

    David.

  3. This would be great, SquirrelMail is functionally OK but looks terrible. We’ll be an early client as we use XServe internally and for some of our clients domains.
