New Atmail 6.1.2 release

Today we announce Atmail 6.1.2 - With new features for Subadmin users, complete integration with ArchiveVault for account provisioning, API and archive access for Subadmins.

The update also includes a new Exchange migration script for IMAP based mail & calendar data, along with performance and Webmail enhancements.

Updating from a previous Atmail 6 release? Follow the simple steps to update your install in under 5 minutes.

New Features:

  • New Exchange migration scripts for IMAP based calendar data
  • New Subadmin disk-space quota support. Specify how much storage a Subadmin user can allocate to users
  • New Subadmin dashboard - Users can login and see their account profile at a glance, user quota, disk space quota, account details and activity via inline graphs
  • New ArchiveVault integration - Subadmin level support, delegate control of a select domain to a Subadmin user with ArchiveVault permissions to view/search inbound & outbound messages for the domain

Improvements:

  • Upgraded ClamAV version
  • Calendar - New and modified events are given an alarm 30mins before due, allowing event notification on an iPhone or desktop client
  • Calendar Server - UserStatus is now cached in the authentication table, heavily reducing sql load and increasing performance dramatically
  • Calendar Server - Removed PyKerberos requirement
  • Improved MIME and attachment handling
  • BETA FreeBSD 7.X Support

Issues Fixed:

  • Fixed sendmail detection under FreeBSD
  • Fixed logo branding URL
  • Abook - Fixed permissions not being correctly applied for Shared entries
  • Mail - Fixed incorrect mail printed when viewing multiple emails
  • Calendar - Fixed various issues with DAViCal
  • Calendar - Fixed new calendars on external servers
