  1. How about updating in 1 minute instead of 5. How hard would it be for the atmail dev. team to create a script to update from the admin control panel? Is there a reason you don’t make updating as easy as updating a wordpress blog?

  2. @Thomas - With the Atmail appliance range we include a “upgrade” button in the Webadmin which does the process automatically. 1 minute upgrades. Since we control the Linux OS and host environment for the appliance we are able to upgrade easier.

We will look into the upgrade process for the normal software edition easier - However some users environments are more out of our control.

  3. Ben, is there a chance for this release to correct problem with relay subnets? This feature on our installation is working only by putting relay subnets directly into Exim configuration file, and not by sql lookup? I am posting tickets to Your support, but without success for mohths.

  4. I have a lot of positives to say about @Mail but they continue to be overshadowed by a simple feature that makes me laugh every time I see a new blog post about updates or new appliances and/or features.

WHEN is a EMPTY TRASH button coming? I’ve been told for over a year it’s coming. Jeeze.

  5. @Mladen- this issue seems specific to your environment and your support ticket has been updated

@Bill- an option to empty trash on logout will be included in the 6.21 release

  6. Yes Bill, I totally agree. We also use Atmail for years and we love it :) but this new version 6 is still missing lot of features. They should better pay attention what users complain about and address some crucial features instead of ‘cosmetic’ changes.

  7. @Mladen we\\\’re currently working on opening up our jira system so that users can report bugs, suggested improvements and feature requests. You will be able to specify whether other users can comment on, vote for and watch your issue (so that developers can see what the majority of users most want done) or whether it\\\’s private and only you and the Atmail team can see it. Either way we hope this will stop requests being lost in the support system and also allow users to see what progress is being made on various issues.

  9. Although it’s better than nothing, an empty trash on logout option is not the ideal solution for an empty trash now button. Quite frankly, the empty trash on logout is not something most users are going to find or want to use all the time. In my opinion that kind of feature really works well in a locally installed piece of software like Outlook or Thunderbird.
