With a huge focus on improving the backend systems, Atmail 6.4 is now available for download. We’ve updated the mailserver systems that keep your email flowing - greatly improving Atmail’s performance and stability.

Improvements include:

Upgraded services for sending and receiving emails. Exim and Dovecot binaries have been upgraded for Atmail, allowing for the various fixes and updates to make their way into your system. POP3/IMAP updates add stability to your email storage, while SMTP updates allow for more authentication options.

Upgraded Spam and Anti-virus capabilities. SpamAssassin and ClamAV binaries have been updated with the latest packages, allowing for greater accuracy when scanning emails for spam and viruses. New support for Bayes SQL gives you the ability to ‘learn’ spam messages and have per-user rulesets.

New caching systems. Atmail’s new caching support speeds up mail and calendar access, and greatly reduces resource use. Memcached support is also supported - allowing you to use a caching system used by sites like Facebook, Twitter, and Reddit.

Issue: An employee leaves. Unfortunately, he’s left you with some loose ends: a customer is referencing previous communications with him. You check your CRM, but there’s nothing there. All the employee’s emails are gone, with his account removed. So what do you do?

ArchiveVault Solution: Why not check your ArchiveVault? Each and every email to your entire company is stored in one safe place. Your sysadmin gives you search access to all Inboxes in your workgroup - so all you have to do is search for his email address.

Seconds later, every email that your employee sent is shown in your browser. Graphs pop up that depict his email traffic in a clear, concise way. You get a timeline of ALL emails from the customer, and you discover that the customer has contacted three other people in your organization. You scan the emails, get the full picture, reply to the customer.

Five minutes after opening ArchiveVault you’re back in control.

Scenario 2

Issue: One person (there’s one in every company) fills the CC field with everyone he knows. Replies get a bit messy, especially if subject line gets altered or people are added/removed from the CC list. One day, you’ll need to sum up the conversation for a report or meeting. How can you be sure you got the whole picture?

ArchiveVault Solution: You get the picture. You quickly search ArchiveVault with some key words from the original email and you get this beautiful complete timeline of all messages between all members of this project. There are even some hidden treasures that you were previously not aware of. A quick follow-up later you have everything you need to shine in the meeting - completely confident that you have not missed anything. Done.

ArchiveVault 1.7 released: Faster, lighter, better.
20% Discount for existing Atmail customers until 17 April.

Take advantage of your improved and integrated archiving solution today. For existing Atmail customers, we offer a 20% discount on a purchase of ArchiveVault valid until 17th April.
