1 x PHP Programmer

Full-time position for Web-developer.

Atmail seeks two new PHP programmers to join the Atmail development team in Peregian Beach, QLD. The positions are open for junior or intermediate programmers looking to broaden their horizon with a Web 2.0 savvy company.

The position are fulltime. You will working on the main codebase of Atmail, to improve the software based on client feedback and working on new features from our product roadmap.

The position is preferred for on-site work at our R&D office in Peregian Beach. Remote-positions will be considered depending on current skill-set and previous remote track record.

Required Skills:

• PHP Experience required
• Zend Framework knowledge desirable
• Experience with Javascript foundations required
• jQuery experience a bonus
• Linux experience required
• Web 2.0 savvy for latest technologies

The enumeration will be based on skill-set and is open for negotiation for a 1-year minimum contract.

Support Engineer

Full-time position US support (USA)

Atmail has a new open position for a USA support engineer to work remotely during US timezone office hours. Applicants must speak English perfectly. Spanish a bonus. Remote position or applicant from the Montana region a bonus.

Job description:

• Manage client support tickets from the Atmail global userbase.
• Answer the US support line during US Eastcoast timezones business hours
• Provide remote client installations and migrations
• Manage client feedback for the Development team

Skill-set required:

• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with Linux and savvy with Web technologies
• Experience to access client Linux systems remotely via SSH and help isolate/diagnose issues
• Ability to work self-motivated remotely in a team
• Strong organisation skills, ability to focus and deliver solutions for clients
• Strong social skills to interact and manage expectations with clients meaningfully
