With the @Mail system, is there a way to setup an "email away message" so that anytime somebody sends an email to my account, they get an automatic reply?

Yes, this is provided in the User Settings -> Mail Settings Tab -> Auto-reply Message ( Advanced Interface ).

In the Simple Interface -> Settings ( menu at the top ) -> Auto-reply Message ( at the bottom of the page ).
